Board of Trustees meets tomorrow

The Cal State Board of Trustees is meeting tomorrow 9:30-1:00 through teleconference. Normally, these take place in Long Beach. A live video stream will be at this page. Public comment will be at 9:30, and public speakers are limited to one minute. Modified instructions to participate due to the change in format are here. The full meeting agenda is here.

In the agenda:

• Reviewing the San Diego Mission Valley campus

• Naming the Shakarian Family Student Success Center at Long Beach

• Campuses are adding new majors. On page 20 of this agenda, you can find yours. Sacramento is adding public policy and administration. Bakersfield is adding environmental sciences. San Francisco is adding bilingual Spanish journalism.

• The donation of 301-acres of Placer Ranch to Sacramento State, complete with draft and final environmental impact reports

• They were going to discuss presidential salaries, but the item was removed
