Meeting this Friday

Hello everyone,

With campuses reopening, the CSU Wire is too. We’re having another Zoom meeting this Friday at 5:00 p.m. The meeting is 100% optional, but it will be good for us to go over any questions you may have and get to know each other. Our multimedia editor, Samantha Laurey at the Golden Gate Xpress, is going to go over our media sharing policy, which will be especially important for your sports coverage: we would like to share any photos between CSU games, so that Mustang News can have photos from Cal Poly’s away games against Fresno State, and vice versa.

We’re also going to have some time to go over collaboration ideas any of you have. A crucial part of this is to establish contact between you and the Wire editors, so permission can be granted to republish stories.

Staff writers and faculty advisors are as welcome as editors. The Zoom link will be posted in the Slack, or shared with you if you reply to this email or direct messaged if you reach out to us on Twitter.
